iPhone Apps

There are apps I prefer and here is some of them I love to use:

1.Today Todo Pro is very nice designed app, that helps on the way of showing today’s to-do’s, a night sky showing yesterday’s and a purple-ish eclipse showing tomorrow’s. It makes it really easy to organize your tasks, edit them, and tick them off as they are completed. Color schemes are really nice, the artwork is fantastic, and for three bucks… not too bad.

Apple Predictions

As we see Apple continues to destroy experts predictions. Despite a little shares fall one of the most rich company in the world and biggest smartphone maker is not going to low its temps.

The profit of the second quarter, 2012 financial year had amounted 11.6 billion dollars (12.3 dollars per share), and revenues – 39.2 billion. It is almost 100% higher than it was in the previous year and more than analysts forecasted (36.8 billion and $ 10 per share).

In the first quarter of 2012, 78 percent of all smartphones sold by AT&T were iPhones and 5.5 million iPhone smartphones are sold only in the first quarter of 2012. That’s all iPhones from the iPhone 3GS up to the current iPhone 4S. Of the 4.3 million iPhones sold, 21 percent went to new AT&T subscribers.

Unlocking iPhone 5 has its own pros and cons

IPhone 5 is the latest version in the iPhone category in the Apple store. The manufacturing company Apple has maintained its control over its softwares and product by limiting it to certain countries and network providers. IPhone 5, being no exception was to be used only in United States and under the network of AT & T. However, ever since unlocking solution has come, it is now possible to unlock an iPhone 5 and use it to its full potential. Unlocking the iPhone will remove all the geographical limitations imposed by Apple on its users. The user will now be able to use the iPhone outside the United States and can also use any GSM SIM card of any network provider from across the world.

Apple do not approve such unlocking of iPhone 5 or any of its product as it claims that by controlling its hardwares and softwares it is able to maintain its quality and consistency over its products. However it is not possible if hacking or unlocking of softwares and hardwares takes place. But many people do feel the restrictions and limitations imposed and are not happy with it. Unlocking of the iPhone allows its user to download third party applications like Cydia and Icy which are app stores though unofficial and provides hundreds of free applications which Apple do not approve of or recommend. However these applications are free and are very much appreciated by the users. The applications provided by Apple store is also there for use, thus the user can now avail the benefits of using the official as well as unofficial app store.

After unlocking the iPhone 5, one can easily customize the iPhone accordingly and is not restricted by Apple. With application such as Winterboard, one can install any of the skin available and modify your iPhone look and display and flaunt it. Thus you can customize its look, its features and even add icons to it by using the different softwares and application. However there are some cons too associated with unlocking. Certain worms like ikee can infect your iPhone after unlocking it. Unlocked iPhone 5 loses its warranty the moment it is unlocked as Apple will not help the user in any hardware related issue as unlocking voids your warranty. But if the user uses the iTunes to restore a cleaner version of the iPhone software, it will not let Apple know that the iPhone was previously jailbroken.

Another con is that any updates on the hacked phone will lead to negation of your jail\break. It will erase all the applications and plug – ins, but the iPhone will function normally. Unlocking it may also lead to the usual breaking down or crashing of the operating system of the phone. It can also slow down your operating system of the phone. The data on your phone is also at risk as after hacking or unlocking, it is open to others on the network. Security breach is also a possible threat after unlocking or jailbreak. However, unlocking iPhone 5 has its own advantages irrespective of such cons. After you do the step-by-step guide, you will have your iphone 5 unlocked within minutes.

iPhone Marketing: A Must for Growing Companies

iPhone advertising has become one of the most popular types of promotion since its inception back in early 2008, and thousands of companies have benefitted from it ever since.
The creation of Apple’s App Store has generated millions upon millions of dollars for various companies, and has emerged as a primary source of technological advertisement within almost every industry.

More importantly, it is the App Store that keeps Apple’s competitors at bay due to its enormity and ease of accessibility. HTC has come closest to challenging the market, but it’s Apple’s reliable interface and facilitated payment package which makes the entirety of the experience almost irreproachable.

The market is basically useless for those who either do not use iTunes, the most downloaded audio player on the Web, or have no interaction with technology and do not use any of Apple’s market-dominating mp3 and video players (iPod, iPad and the iPhone).

Companies such as eBay and Amazon have created Apple-friendly applications, which have allowed customers to have access to their company with the touch of a finger.

Not only has Apple’s App Store made it an accessible market, but it has turned the whole industry into a win-win situation, as both Apple and the advertising company stand to benefit.

Thanks to iTunes’ enormous customer base, the iPhone App Store has taken a market filled with consumer fanatics and proposed a money-influenced idea suitable for the music industry.

What has become even more inspiring for both growing and leading industries is that you no longer need an iPhone to access the App Store. With the likes of the iTouch and the iPad now confident sellers in the audio-visual market, you can purchase the goods you are offering on a scale that is no longer limited to just one device.

Talking about Genius, the application that Apple has invented, notably expands the music market even further, as it offers music on a sidebar suited to your audio tastes and merely requires a click of a button to purchase and download music to your media library.

You don’t necessarily have to own an Apple smartphone to benefit from the App Store anymore, as you could have one of Nokia’s Symbian-based Ovi devices or even HTC’s increasingly popular Android phone.

Apple really has set the trend for mobile marketing, generally thanks to iTunes, iBooks and its various gaming markets.

What people seem to want is a device which does everything in one. Mp3 player, video player, books, games and a telephone is what the iPhone offers; so not to advertise your company within the world’s largest industry could be considered a costly mistake.

Software developers come in large numbers, and a well-presented application will generate thousands of pounds depending on the usefulness of your company, of course.

Students have paid their way through college after inventing an Apple App Store-friendly game, which generated a high concentration of popularity among iConsumers.

Although, with the industry growing on a daily basis, other technology such as the HTC Thunderbolt offers similar mobile advertising schemes and could prove to be popular hits as Android controls around 20 per cent of the smartphone market.

Perhaps not as many users; but with a smaller application background and not much variability within the Android market (apart from weather applications), you could create an application relatively easily.

Cheap Broadband Deals

If you are a consumer, you should always take the time to compare broadband deals. The market offers you various deals, offers, and packages – going through them takes up a lot of time, but it’s a good idea to put in that time as it can prove valuable in the long run.

Leaving aside the package or deal itself, there are many broadband connections available like standard home broadband, fibre optic broadband, Wi-Fi (wireless local area network), DSL (digital subscriber line), ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber line), cable, mobile broadband, and each comes with a set speed limit.

In fact, you could easily find broadband comparison sites which would do the job for you – not only would you save valuable money, but you would also find the right broadband plan to suit your and your family’s needs. We suggest http://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk, as it comes highly recommended, in fact, it has been officially accredited by the UK regulator Ofcom, for the second year running.

You can make comparisons between cheap broadband offers, pay as you go broadband packages, pay as you go USB dongle deals, standard home broadband with wireless routers (Wi-Fi connectivity),
mobile broadband deals, and many different broadband packages like broadband + home telephone, broadband + mobile phone connection, broadband + digital TV, and of course there are many all in one broadband deals. Keep yourself updated on promotional offers which broadband service providers regularly carry out – you might even get a free laptop in the process!

But be sure not to just check the price and deal, you should also check the connection speed – that is vital. The broadband comparison sites and the broadband service providers themselves should give you information on the internet connectivity. You can get details on upload and download speed, monthly download usage limit, and even the bandwidth. But sometimes you might see that even though your broadband connection is properly set up, the speed is not right – for this you should check the site http://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk/speed-test.asp which would give you your true speed, and thus solve the problem.
